Individual Support Sessions

Looking for individual support?

We offer our individual sessions to parents and carers who would prefer this type of support.  We understand that group sessions are not for everyone.
Sarah P Fisher Coaching Parents & Carers

What types of things can we help with:

– school avoidance

– physical and verbal aggression

– defiance

– sibling struggles

– controlling ‘behaviours’

– trauma responses

– struggles with connecting with your child

and everything in between.  These hopefully give you an idea, but please don’t hesitate to contact us for other worries.

We support families with children of all ages, as our approach is relationship based and helps with any relationship, whatever age.  (It works with adults as well!)

How do the sessions work?

Our sessions are an hour long, usually over zoom, and every session is personalised to meet your needs.  We don’t run our individual sessions using a set programme.  We’ll share the approach with you in the way that works best for you.

We’ll start by understanding the challenges you are experiencing, the needs of your children, your needs and any other relevant information.  From this we’ll work with you to create a plan, based on your priorities, and together we’ll think about how the Connective Parenting approach can help you.  We don’t believe in a one size fits all approach so we’ll personalise our thoughts and ideas to meet your needs, as every child and parent is different.

You are the expert in your child.  We are here to help and support you, and work collaboratively to reduce the challenges you are experiencing.

A large part of this work is looking at ourselves, our own beliefs, attachment styles and needs.  These help us to understand how we are connecting with our children.  Our own upbringing plays a role in how we parent and that understanding can be powerful in changing our relationship with our own children.

Who are the sessions with?

Sessions are held with either Sarah Fisher or one of her team, all of whom have trained with her.  We usually operate a waiting list and you will work with the next available coach who is the best fit for your family, unless you have stated a preference.

How much do they cost?

Sessions are £105 +VAT.  We do offer ‘one off’ sessions, however most families will benefit from a series of sessions to support with implementing the approach and working through the challenges.

For those eligible the ASF will fund sessions.

(If individual sessions are not right for you, the Connective Parenting Hub offers lots of training and support within a group environment.  You can find the details here.
